Our sugar cubes are made from sugarcane and sugar beet from the world's best sugar growing regions. They are produced for The Providore by Marukichi Sugar in Tokyo. The sugars are unrefined and have not been through a centrifugal process so they retain the character and natural minerals from the sugar sources and have more flavor. Characterized by strong sweetness, a delicate flavor and beautiful color, they are the perfect partner to our exquisite teas and specialty coffee blends.

This sugar is made from sugarcane from the world's best sugar growing regions. It is produced for The Providore by Marukichi Sugar in Tokyo. They differ from regular refined sugar in that the raw sugarcane juice is not centrifuged to separate the sugar crystals from the mother liquor, but simply filtered and then boiled down so that the richness and flavor of the syrup can be savored to the full. By adjusting the proportion of mother liquor left in the sugar, we have created flavors fragrances and colors. Ideal for baking and cooking, they are perfect to use in ways that bring out their special characteristics.

02 - A traditional sugar with a strong old-fashioned flavour and sweetness with a real presence.

Aqua 03 Sugar Syrup is produced by natural crystallization of rock sugar made from Hokkaido sugar beet with the addition of water only. The syrup is rich and dark and is fantastic poured over pancakes or ice-cream or used to make cakes and pastries.

Aqua 01 Sugar Syrup is made from non-centrifugal unrefined cane sugar from sugarcane grown in Okinawa with the addition of water only. This syrup has a clean, pure sweetness and it is ideal to sweeten cocktails and mixed drinks, iced tea or in pastries or cakes.

A rich, sweet preserve with the texture crunch of dried figs. Great with Stlton and string blue cheese. Spread on a cracker or fresh bread with some goat cheese it make a delicious canape.

Sweet caramelized onions with some balsamic vinegar, brown sugar and some subtle spices give this versatile condiment a lovely rounded flavour. Excellent with bangers and mash, on a hamburger or served as a canapé in pastry cases with soft goats cheese on top.

Made from Yarra Valley shiraz wine from our good friend Rob Dolan. This jelly is fruity and intense, and is great with brie and other soft cheeses. It also partners well with goat cheese and some light blues.

Full of large pieces of aubergine, this spicy pickle makes a fantastic base for a Middle Eastern style pizza. Or stir it through natural yoghurt with chopped fresh coriander and serve it on the side of grilled foods.

The sweet flavours of pear and apple combined with traditional spices make this old-fashioned chutney the perfect accompaniment to cold roast pork, a good cheddar cheese or a country style terrine.

Made from rose pink ruby grapefruit, this marmalade has a pithy grapefruit tang and chunky texture

Dark and treacly, this Scottish style marmalade is rich and dense with bitter caramel notes.

The sweet fragrant raspberries give this jam a full flavour that is balanced with a tart finish.
