Inspired by a generation of Italian bakers in Torre San Giorgio, a village at the bottom of the Alps, Domenico Albertengo introduced his magnum opus to the pastry world - the Panettone. His creation combines the traditional aroma of fresh bread and the delicate scent of sweet cake.
The Albertengo Pandoro is one of the most appreciated sweets for the traditional Christmas holidays. Unlike the Panettone, the Pandoro does not contain any form of garnish, such as raisins and candied fruit. The pandoro is made of a soft and tasty smooth, fragrant and soft dough, best enjoyed with a dusting of icing sugar.
